More than 1,250 children receive early childhood education and child care services each day at LVCC. We’re the largest full day, year-round, early education and child care provider in the region, with over 30 convenient locations in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill counties. Each of our centers participates in Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS and continuously is building a higher standard of measure for our programs.
The Assistant/Lead Teachers are responsible for the planning and implementation of a daycare program for children in a manner that contributes to their growth and development and is consistent with the goals and philosophy of Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers, following program policies in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Care regulations, and where applicable Keystone STARS regulations.
High school diploma/GED required
2500 hours documented experience working with children
During summer hours will be accompany children on field trips
Monday thru Friday hours.
